Adding the clinical framing, because it changes how the question reads. Whatever the answer turns out to be, the method for getting there is the same: state the assumption, do the arithmetic in public, and invite the correction. That is slower than asserting, and it is the only version that survives being wrong.

Worth separating that from tirzepatide, which this thread keeps folding into the same question. They behave differently and the advice does not transfer.

Same pattern here, and in the same order.

Coming at SleepDoc_PDX’s question from a different direction. Take it one variable at a time. Almost every unanswerable question in these threads is unanswerable because three things changed in the same fortnight, and no amount of subsequent argument can untangle them after the fact.

Worth separating that from tirzepatide, which this thread keeps folding into the same question. They behave differently and the advice does not transfer.

One concrete data point for the thread. One practical note: write down what you did and when, before you need it. Reconstructing a timeline from memory three months later is how people end up unable to answer the one question that would have resolved it.

Following on from SleepDoc_PDX — and this may be the naive question:

How would you tell the difference between that and the alternative explanation?
