Plateau breaking story with a stall: I stalled at 217 lbs for 7 weeks.

Pushing back on Dr.ObesityMed here. The "it is your intake" reflex here gets tiring. Some people genuinely stop responding at a dose that worked, and telling them to track harder when they have already tracked is how people stop posting.

If somebody has the primary source to hand I would rather cite it than paraphrase it.

Adding the numbers, since they settle part of this. Give anything pharmacological four weeks before you judge it, and give anything measured weekly a four-point rolling average before you call it a trend.

Correct me if the detail matters more than I have assumed.

Coming at Dr.KarenChen’s question from a different direction. It helps to ask what evidence would change your mind before you look at any. If nothing would, the discussion is not about evidence, and it is better to say so early than to spend nine posts discovering it.

Ask again with the specifics and you will get a better answer than this one.

One thing that is still open after mia_MS2’s answer:

What would you measure differently if you were starting again?

Closing the loop on my own question.

Rolling average over five weeks showed I had lost 1.6kg during my "plateau". The scale was noise and the tape had moved. I changed nothing and it resumed.
