Helpful anti-nausea foods for hydration users: Ginger (tea, chews, supplements — all work) Peppermint (tea or oil capsules) Plain crackers or rice…

I read this differently from MikeFit_NJ, on substance rather than tone. The objection nobody has made: this only works if the measurement is doing what we assume it is doing, and that assumption has not been tested here.

One concrete data point for the thread. Worth stating the units and the reference range whenever you post a number here. A large fraction of the apparent disagreement in these threads is two people using different units and both being right.

I would rather be corrected than agreed with, if it comes to it.

There is a second half to this that has not been said yet. Worth answering the question that was asked rather than the one behind it. The narrow version usually has an answer; the broad version usually does not, and answering the broad one is how a thread stops being useful.

Following on from SaraMom3 — and this may be the naive question:

Did your prescriber agree with that reading, and if not what was their objection?

Reporting back.

Update: the thing I was blaming turned out not to be the cause. Leaving the original post as written rather than editing it, so the mistake stays visible for whoever searches this next.
