PSA: get baseline labs BEFORE starting baseline bloodwork therapy.

Correct, and worth adding that it is reversible. Nothing being described here is a one-way door, which changes how cautious it is reasonable to be.

One addition: if the lab changes analytical platform between your draws, the comparison breaks and nobody tells you.

This is exactly what I could not find anywhere else. Printing the relevant bit and taking it with me.

I read this differently from claudia_zurich, on substance rather than tone. Filing an objection on the n=1 problem. Personal experience is genuine evidence about one person and very weak evidence about anybody else, and this thread keeps promoting the first into the second.

One concrete data point for the thread. If you are going to change something, change one thing and give it long enough to express itself. Four weeks is the usual minimum for anything pharmacological on this board, and two weeks of data has told you almost nothing.

Moderator note: reminder that nothing in this thread is medical advice, and that clinical claims need a source. Report rather than reply if it drifts again.
