Total testosterone rose substantially and free testosterone barely moved, which took a while to make sense of.

What I am after is why total and free can move differently here, and which of the two is worth tracking.

Tell me what I have not thought of.

This one has a reasonably settled answer, so here it is. The variables that decide how a cross-border order goes are declaration wording, the destination country's import rules for prescription medicines, and whether the shipment looks commercial. Personal-import allowances exist in some jurisdictions and not in others, and where they exist they are usually conditional on a prescription and a quantity limit. The failure mode is normally a seizure notice rather than anything worse, and a reshipment policy is the thing worth confirming before ordering rather than after.

Agreed, and cold chain is the underrated risk on long routes. A shipment held at a border for a week has had a temperature excursion whether or not it arrives.

If somebody has the primary source to hand I would rather cite it than paraphrase it.

Same experience, arrived at from the opposite direction.

From the other side of the consultation, briefly.

Hormone panel changes on the hormone panel — relevant for anyone curious about endocrine effects:

  • Testosterone: increased 35% (weight loss reduces aromatase in adipose tissue)
  • Estradiol: normalized from elevated baseline
  • SHBG: increased appropriately
  • Free testosterone: increased 22%
  • Cortisol AM: within normal limits, no significant change

My reproductive endocrinologist says the testosterone improvement alone could explain the energy and mood benefits I've experienced.
