Read four things before the headline number.

Thank you for spelling out the reasoning rather than just the conclusion.

From the other side of the consultation, briefly.

Propensity score matching studies and the trial evidence: when RCTs aren't available for a specific question, propensity score-matched observational studies can provide useful evidence.

A recent PSM study of 12,000 GLP-1 users vs matched controls showed reduced heart failure hospitalization (HR 0.74) over 3 years of follow-up[1].

These results complement the RCT data and suggest the benefits translate to real-world populations.

Forest plot interpretation for the the trial evidence meta-analysis: when reading the pooled estimate, pay attention to: Point estimate (HR/RR/OR) —…

Filing a mild objection. Mild because I might be wrong; an objection because nobody has addressed the case that does not fit. The objection nobody has made: this only works if the measurement is doing what we assume it is doing, and that assumption has not been tested here.

The figures, for anyone assembling their own picture. Worth stating the units and the reference range whenever you post a number here. A large fraction of the apparent disagreement in these threads is two people using different units and both being right.

Moderator note: leaving this open. It is being argued well and the disagreement is the useful part. No action needed from anybody.
