I read this differently from PharmD_Rodriguez, on substance rather than tone. Import rules are jurisdiction-specific and this board keeps giving US-shaped answers to non-US questions. What is a personal-import allowance in one country is a controlled-import offence in another.

One concrete data point for the thread. Keep the original post as written when you update it, and add the correction underneath. An edited-away mistake is invisible to the next person who makes it.

There is a second half to this that has not been said yet. The version of this that has an answer is narrower than the version being asked. Narrow it and it becomes tractable; leave it broad and the thread will produce nine confident and incompatible replies.

Ask again with the specifics and you will get a better answer than this one.

Following on from pam_columbus — and this may be the naive question:

Did your prescriber agree with that reading, and if not what was their objection?

For the archive: it took about six weeks rather than the two I expected, and the difference between those two numbers was the whole of my problem.
