Two drinks now land like five, and I found that out in a way I would rather not repeat.

So the question, as narrowly as I can put it: whether the change in tolerance is the smaller stomach, the smaller body, or something central, and whether it settles.

Numbers rather than impressions, if you have them.

Short answer first, then the reasoning. It helps to ask what evidence would change your mind before you look at any. If nothing would, the discussion is not about evidence, and it is better to say so early than to spend nine posts discovering it.

Agreed, with the usual condition: that holds for the average and this board is a collection of individuals. A population claim and a personal prediction are different things and get quoted interchangeably.

This is my experience too, for whatever a second data point is worth. I had assumed I was the exception until I read this.

Adding the clinical framing, because it changes how the question reads. The distinction that resolves most of these threads is between what is true on average and what is true for one person. Both are real; they answer different questions and get quoted as if they were the same one.
