Coming at Dr.MetabolicMD’s question from a different direction. Worth answering the question that was asked rather than the one behind it. The narrow version usually has an answer; the broad version usually does not, and answering the broad one is how a thread stops being useful.

One concrete data point for the thread. If you are comparing against somebody else’s result, check that you are comparing the same measurement taken the same way. Most of the apparent contradictions in these threads dissolve at that step.

Which effects tachyphylax and which persist, because the answer explains why tolerability improves while the appetite effect keeps working?

I am going to disagree with the direction of travel here. The thread has converged on the tidiest answer rather than the best-supported one, and those are not the same thing.

Closing the loop on my own question.

Closing this out: the trough rather than the peak explains the pattern I was seeing on day six, which I had been blaming on the vial.
